Crafting a Compelling Vision

What is true about visionary people is that they have the ability to change the world. It is their vision that sets them apart from the rest and enables their success. But what does it take to craft a compelling vision? What does it take to see your vision through to fruition?

What does it take to craft a compelling vision?

First, is believing that it is possible. Without this belief, your vision will never get off the ground.

Secondly, it is important to have a clear vision. If your vision isn’t focused, your efforts may be misplaced.

Finally, you have to see your vision through until it becomes a reality. Many people quit right before they are about to reach their tipping point. You have to believe that everything happens when it is supposed to, and that belief has to be constant.

When you look too great leaders or people that have achieved great success, their vision defines who they are, and it gives them purpose. Their vision also attracts others. People are attracted to them because visionaries can see what others can’t. This is because visionaries don’t see obstacles. Their vision gives them this power and it helps them to remain mentally strong. You have to believe in yourself and know that your vision is worthy.

Vision is also tied to hope. If you feel disconnected, uninspired, or stuck, it is because you lost your vision. It is necessary to always keep your vision front and center in your mind so that you do not become distracted with doubt or uncertainty.

Everyone wants to be around people who see what’s possible. This is because they can create anything that they put their mind to. Imagine being able to achieve anything that you dream or imagine.

Albert Einstein believed that imagination is everything because it is a preview of life’s coming attractions.

It is also important to align your vision with your core values and the things that are most important to you. This is where your passion and dedication come from. If you can see it, you can achieve it and the more things you see, the more likely they are to happen. This is why your vision has to be BIG, unapologetically big. It is important to give your vision enough space to grow. The more you imagine for it, the bigger it will become.

A good way to start imagining your vision is to dedicate space and time to it.  Set a schedule for when you will work on your vision. Take a pen and paper with you and write down everything that comes to mind.

It is also helpful to frame your vision with the “7 Major Departments of our Lives”: Physical, Spiritual, Mental, Family and Relationships, Money and Career, Adventure and Recreation, and Service and Contribution. How does everything come together and how is everything connected?

Ask yourself, “What do I want?” Use your desire as a creative force. Next ask, “What’s possible?” Then ask again, “What else is possible?” How big can you see your vision and how can you see it bigger?

You also want to be wary of the things that can get in the way of your vision. Firstly, there is no such thing as the “right” vision. Tell yourself that you can have it all. Put no limits on your vision. Your current mind doesn’t know what you can have. The vision process isn’t designed to figure out the how.

Vision is only focused on what is possible and that is why vision can’t be stopped.

Believe that you are destined for BIG things. Ask yourself what it is that you see because what you see, is what you get. Sustain your vision by constantly working at it. Surround yourself with other visionaries who think as big as you do. You were not born to play small. Be one of those people that draws the best out of others. A true visionary is also a leader and can see other’s visions for them when they can’t see it themselves.

When you have done all that you needed to do, you can’t stop your vision from occurring.

Push through the fear.

Push through personal issues.

Push everything aside.

Be the one that sees the solutions where others see problems. Get your vision on your radar and the rest will follow.
