Universal Fears

We all have an element of fear every time we go to expand our life and our world. If we want to live a progressive, influential, abundant life, it is necessary that we get friendly with fear. We need to accept it and push through it.

To access the whole interview on how to breakthrough your fears to outrageous achievement, watch here and garner her wisdom.

Every time we push ourselves outside of our comfort zone or try something new, there is that natural fear that bubbles up. We do this to protect ourselves like a natural defense mechanism. We do this to keep ourselves safe.

However, this is where we need to discipline our fears. We can respect them, but still push forward. We need to make a decision and take a stance against our fears.

We may feel uncomfortable.

We may feel uneasy, but that is where growth comes from.

Sometimes, we just need to tell ourselves “This is what’s going down. You can handle this. And it’s happening.” We need to remind ourselves that we can feel the fear and do it anyway.

The 5 universal fears most commonly experienced are:

  • Rejection
  • Failure
  • Success
  • Judgment
  • Change

Leslie shows us that “so many people have big dreams and yet, so few people act on them.”

Why is this? What causes this? What are my own big dreams? Am I acting on them?

There is a tangible difference between having a dream and living it.

You need to have the courage, the belief, and take the necessary steps to bring this dream to fruition. Ask yourself what you need to do to make this dream a reality. How can you overcome adversity? What obstacles do you need to surpass? Asking yourself these questions can bring a lot of clarity.

Everyone feels fear, rejection, and criticism. Nobody is immune. One of our greatest and most provocative fears is the fear of success. Some people sabotage their own good because they fear success. They fear change. They fear increased responsibility. Or maybe they have a sense that they don’t deserve it, or they are not worthy. People fear success as much as they fear failure. It takes a lot of self-reflection and humility to really dig deep and understand what that means.

We all get knocked down.

We all experience failure from time to time. What matters is how we face this failure and if we let it defeat us or transform us.

Life experiences contribute to who we are, but they don’t define us. Our greatest failures can lead to our greatest achievements. However, we need to be honest with ourselves. We need to do the work.

We have to allow ourselves to be vulnerable in order to believe that we are worth and deserve more. Listen to your inner voice and your deepest and most desperate desires.

You owe it to yourself to work through this feeling and to arm yourself with the skills required to break through these universal fears.

This is what is necessary for outrageous achievement. So, what do you need to do specifically?  What steps can you take to break this cycle?

How can you tackle these universal fears head-on, push past them, and live the life that you were meant to live? Leslie Zann outlines all of this in her book, available on Amazon.

She teaches us how to face fear head on, how to overcome it, and how to make it work for us.

Here is the full interview. Leslie will hold your hand step by step as you break through to outrageous achievement. You’re going to love it!
